“SINIGANG”By: Marie Aubrey J VillaceranHi, I’m Jhesie Anthony Barrera TicalaThese are things I learned and know moral values from the reading story of “SINIGANG” by Marie Aubrey J Villaceran

“SINIGANG” is more than just a dish, it’s an integral part of Filipino culture. It’s a popular dish to serve during the rainy season, as the hot soup is said to warm the body and soul. Sinigang is often served during special occasions like birthdays, weddings, and other celebrations.

The first thing I’ve learned from the story is that we must learn from our mistakes so that we won’t commit the same mistakes twice.
The second lesson I’ve learned is that no matter what happens, you should always respect your family members.

Through this story, I learned some moral values that I think are important for me as a 21st century learner.

Again Hi, I’m Jhesie Anthony Barrera Ticala. These are the things I’ve learned and the moral values I’ve gained from reading “SINIGANG” by: Marie Aubrey Villacerans.

Forgive and forget

Sometimes, it is so hard to forgive especially when he/she commits mistakes that affect your entire life. But, the only thing that will make your life peaceful is that we need to learn how to forgive. We need to forget who hurt us but never forget what lesson they left to us.

Culture – Sinigang represented Liza’s culture, connecting her to her roots and heritage. This reminded me of the importance of preserving, respecting, and passing on our cultural traditions.
Sinigang is more than just a dish. It is a dish that teaches moral values. Through the story of Liza, I learned the moral values of family, forgiveness, and culture. These moral values are important for me as a 21st century learner, because they help me become a better person and a global citizen.

I hope you enjoyed and feel exciting while reading my blog.
